Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that produces the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. When you contact us, we receive the details included in your message and use them to answer.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may contain an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps maintain the service and show which material is useful. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may also rely on cookies or similar technology.
How Information Is Used
Limited data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor build individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Orleans Parish and Louisiana record portals, library collections, archives, and outside search tools. Information submitted after leaving this site is governed by that destination's privacy policy. The same rule applies to sponsored results supplied by another company.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and support providers process server logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Louisiana Act 502 of 2026, codified at La. R.S. 51:1780.1 through 51:1780.5 and effective January 1, 2027, creates consumer privacy rights for covered businesses. Its thresholds, exceptions, and exclusions determine whether it applies to a particular operator or dataset, and government records are not automatically removed by a request under that law. Because we retain very little, a request normally involves checking contact mail and available server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Louisiana, Orleans Parish, or the City of New Orleans remain under the control of their custodians.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
